Hi, we’re TypeTide.

TypeTide is a Chicago-based mechanical keyboard shop founded in 2026. We started because we kept chasing the same thing every keyboard enthusiast chases: that perfect press — the right weight, the right sound, the right look.

We sell both ends of the hobby. Want to type today? Pick up a Keychron V1 Max or RK Royal Kludge RK84, ready to go out of the box. Want to build? Start with the Holy60 barebones kit and finish it your way with our switches, keycaps, stabilizers, cables, and tools.
