Gateron Twins 2-in-1 Switch & Keycap Puller
The Gateron Twins is a 2-in-1 puller that removes both keycaps and mechanical switches with a single tool. If you own a hot-swap keyboard, this is the first accessory you should buy — it makes swapping switches and keycap sets fast, safe, and scratch-free.
Key specifications
- 2-in-1 design: keycap puller on one end, switch puller on the other
- Push-button release pops the held switch or keycap out of the tool with one press
- Clamps switches accurately and holds them securely so they don't fall off and get lost
- Ergonomic handle shaped for repeated use during full-board switch swaps

Who is this for
Anyone with a hot-swap keyboard who wants to try new switches or keycaps without damaging them. If you've ever pried a keycap off with a screwdriver, this is the upgrade.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a puller if my keyboard is hot-swap?
Yes — hot-swap sockets grip switches tightly, and pulling them by hand risks bent pins. A switch puller grips both sides evenly and pulls straight up.
Can I use the keycap end on any keycaps?
It works on standard keycap sets, including Cherry-profile and taller profiles. Slide the wire loops under opposite corners of the cap and lift straight up.
How does the release button work?
After the tool grips a switch or keycap, press the button on the handle and the tool pops it out — no prying it loose with your fingers.
